The facade of the Pisa Cathedral is one of its most striking features. It is adorned with intricate sculptures, mosaics, and columns, and is divided into three main sections, each representing different aspects of the Christian faith. Inside the cathedral the nave is flanked by double columns, creating a sense of grandeur and elegance. The dome of the Pisa Cathedral is another striking feature of the interior, painted with a glorious fresco of Christ in Glory, created by Antonio Vassilacchi in the 16th century.
