Why Visit?
Stunning alpine landscapes, dramatic peaks, and charming Tyrolean villages make the Dolomites a paradise for hiking, skiing, and experiencing authentic mountain culture with gourmet cuisine.
Best Time to Visit
Visit June to September for vibrant wildflower hikes and clear views, or December to March for world-class skiing and festive alpine ambiance.
Getting There & Around
Arrive via Venice or Innsbruck airports; drive or take trains to Bolzano or Brunico. A private transfer offers the most scenic and flexible way into the mountains to stop and enjoy the towns and sites en route.
Accessibility
Mountain terrain, steep paths, and cobbled streets in villages can be challenging. Some resorts and cable cars are wheelchair-accessible, but hiking areas are mostly not accessibility-friendly. We work closely with our local team to assist with accessibility needs – contact us to discuss how we can support your journey.
Tip: Choose well-equipped spa hotels in flatter towns like Ortisei or San Candido with lift access and scenic drives instead of walking trails.
Booking Considerations
Book alpine hotels, ski lodges, and summer mountain stays 6–9 months ahead, especially for peak seasons like July–August and Christmas. Booking of cable car tickets, and guided hikes or ski lessons in advance is vital.
