The Fiasconaro family has been baking in Sicily since 1953, when Mario Fiasconaro founded the business as a modest ice cream parlour. Over time, it evolved into a renowned artisanal bakery now run by his three sons—Fausto, Martino, and Nicola. Nicola, a celebrated pastry chef, transformed the traditional Italian Panettone into a uniquely Sicilian creation by incorporating fresh candied orange, raisins, and the distinct flavours of Marsala and Zibibbo wine. Under his guidance, Fiasconaro Panettone has gained international acclaim and is exported around the world. Nicola’s reputation is such that he has had the honour of baking Panettone for three different Popes.
