Enjoy a morning guided walking tour of the historic centre. Along the way, you’ll discover the Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, the Duomo, Giotto’s Campanile bell tower and the Baptistery. The tour includes access to Brunelleschi’s dome for a breath taking view and guided entrance to Accademia Gallery, to witness Michelangelo’s David and his ‘Unfinished Prisoners’. The afternoon is free to perhaps enjoy more art at the Uffizi or take advantage of Florence’s amazing shopping.

Day: 3 Florence – San Gimignano – Chianti – Florence

Enjoy a day excursion to the Tuscan countryside. Visit San Gimignano, famous for its medieval architecture and surviving 13th century towers, which, with its hilltop setting and encircling walls, form an unforgettable skyline. The town’s historic centre is UNESCO World Heritage Listed. Visit the Palazzo del Duomo to view a gallery of works from Florentine and Sienese schools of Art and to climb the stairs of the tower for an amazing view. Afterward, continue to Chianti for lunch and wine tasting at a vineyard before returning via Piazzale Michelangelo for a magnificent view over Florence.
