Day: 1 Kayseri – Cappadocia

Welcome to Kayseri to start your amazing journey through central and southern Turkey. On arrival in Kayseri, be transferred to Cappadocia, Turkey’s historic region in Central Anatolia. On arrival, refresh yourself at the hotel before enjoying a welcome dinner.

Day: 2 Cappadocia

Enjoy a full day visiting the spectacular Göreme National Park and the Rock Sites of Cappadocia. The Valley contains a spectacular landscape, entirely sculptured by erosion including dwellings, troglodyte villages and underground towns. The site is UNESCO World Heritage listed. The visit includes cliff caves to see Byzantine frescoes, the underground city of Kaymakli, Rose Valley, the natural citadel of Uchisar and Pasabag Valley. Afterward, visit the village of Avanos, famous for centuries for pottery production and visit a workshop.

Day: 3 Cappadocia

Breakfast

This morning, enjoy a hot air balloon ride to see the amazing rock formations from a different perspective. The rest of the day is at your leisure to relax or perhaps hike through the stunning landscape of the Rose Valley.

Day: 4 Cappadocia – Konya

Depart Cappadocia and head along the ancient Silk Road, stopping at a 13th century “Caravanserai” that provided roadside shelter for weary travellers. Continue to Konya, one of the oldest cities in the world, known for its Seljuk architecture and Whirling Dervishes.
On arrival, enjoy an organised lunch followed by a visit to the tomb of Mevlana. Afterward, visit Çatalhöyük, the world’s best-preserved Neolithic site (dating to 7000 BC), which is UNESCO World Heritage Listed.

Day: 5 Konya – Side – Antalya

After breakfast, depart for Side, a picturesque town located on a peninsula that boasts classic ruins, modern day resorts and sandy white beaches. On arrival, freshen up at your seaside resort before enjoying an organised dinner.

Day: 6 Antalya – Perge – Antalya

Enjoy a morning guided tour of Perge’s archaeological ruins including the great theatre, the stadium, the gigantic ruined towers of the Hennelistic-Roman city gate and Aspendos’ impressive Roman theatre. Afterward, return to Antalya where the rest of the day is yours to relax by the sea.

Day: 7 Antalya – Ölüdeniz – Fethiye

Depart for Fethiye, a Mediterranean hot spot with an incredible natural harbour. On arrival, freshen up in your amazing beach resort, before enjoying an organised lunch and a visit to the stunning Ölüdeniz, one of the most photographed beaches in the Mediterranean. Day: 8 Fethiye – Kayaköy – Fethiye

This morning, visit the ghost town of Kayaköy where Anatolian Greeks lived until 1923. The town consists of hundreds of rundown, but mainly intact Greek-style houses perched on a mountainside. Afterward, explore Saklikent Gorge, measuring an impressive 300 metres by 18km, before returning to Fethiye for an organised dinner.

Day: 9 Fethiye – Dalyan – Marmaris

Breakfast

Enjoy a guided tour of the ancient city of Caunos and the Lycian Rock Tombs, accessible by small boat through a labyrinth of thick vegetation on the Dalyan River Delta. Here you may take a bath in mineral rich sulphurous mud. Continue, to İztuzu Beach, one of the main breeding grounds for the endangered loggerhead sea turtle. Afterward, continue to the Port of Marmaris with its gorgeous backdrop of pine-clad mountains. The evening is at your leisure to explore the town’s vibrant nightlife.

Day: 10 Marmaris – Rhodes – Maramaris

Today enjoy the short boat excursion to the beautiful Greek island of Rhodes. Day: 12 Kuşadası – Ephesus – Kuşadası

Enjoy an excursion and guided to of the magnificent ruins of the ancient Greek city of Ephesus. The city was built in the 10th century BC and was famed for the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven Wonders of the Ancient World. See the great amphitheatre that seated nearly 25,000 people, the impressive Celsus Library, the Agora and the Temples of Hadrian and Domitian. Afterward, visit the House of Virgin Mary, located atop of a mountain where Mary is said to have spent her last days. Return to Kuşadasi to enjoy a celebratory closing dinner.
