Day: 2 Palermo – Monreale – Palermo

Enjoy a guided tour of historic Palermo, founded in 734BC. Visit her main attractions including the UNESCO listed Palermo Cathedral, Palace Normanni, Palatine Chapel and Monreale Cathedral; as well as San Giovanni degli Eremiti church and Ballarò market. . In the mid-afternoon, you have leisure time to perhaps visit Cappuccini Catacombs, Teatro Massimo or join locals for ‘la passeggiata’ or late afternoon stroll through the city’s streets.

Day: 3 Palermo – Castelbuono – Cefalù – Palermo

Venture to the quaint village of Castelbuono in the Madonie Natural Park to enjoy a tasting of the traditional Italian panettone with a Sicilian twist from a popular family patisserie. Afterward, visit the amazing seaside town of Cefalù, nestled between the Tyrrhenian Sea and a distinctive precipitous rock.
