Meet your local guide for a walking tour of Dubrovnik, a UNESCO World Heritage Listed Site. Dubbed the ‘Pearl of the Adriatic’, the town has preserved its beautiful Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque churches, monasteries, palaces and fountains. Visit the main attractions including the Pile Gate, the city’s main promenade – the Stradun, the Onophrian Fountain built in 1438, the Franciscan Monastery, the baroque church of St Blaise and the Rector’s Palace built in 1441. Also walk atop the city walls for an amazing view. Afterward, enjoy a scrumptious welcome lunch and an afternoon to relax by the beach or to shop in the old town.

Day: 3 Dubrovnik – Hvar

Today, travel by ferry to one of Croatia’s most popular islands off the Dalmatian Coast, Hvar. Complete with hillsides covered in pine forests, vineyards, olive groves, fruit orchards and lavender fields, the island is also home to the popular tourist town of Hvar. On arrival, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure.

Day: 4 Hvar – Pakleni Otoci – Hvar

Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Hvar’s main attractions before boarding a private charter boat to venture further into the Adriatic to visit the stunning and secluded Pakleni Islands. The archipelago stretches for 10 kilometres and offers small, secluded beaches, deserted coves and sun-drenched hills. Relax on the sandy beaches of the bay of Palmižana, while enjoying the scent of rosemary planted on nearby slopes. Afterward, return to Hvar.

Day: 5 Hvar-Split

Enjoy the morning to relax in Hvar or perhaps visit Stari Grad, located on the northern side of the island that is a UNESCO protected site. In the early afternoon, board a catamaran to Split, the second largest city in Croatia and one of the oldest, dating to the 6th century BC. Meet your local guide for a morning tour. Originally a Greek settlement, Split was conquered by the Venetians in 1420, ruled by Austrians and French before becoming part of Yugoslavia in 1918. It was occupied by the Italians in 1941 and liberated in 1943. Visit the city’s UNESCO World Heritage Listed historical centre including the Diocletians Palace representing one of the most famous architectural and cultural buildings on the Croatian coast. The afternoon is available to enjoy at your leisure to perhaps visit the Ivan Mestrovic Gallery, the Archaeological Museum or Riva Harbour.

Day: 7 Split – Trogir - Šibenik – Zadar

Visit Trogir, a UNESCO World Heritage Listed town with a medieval core, surrounded by walls, comprising a preserved castle and tower and dwellings and palaces from the Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque periods. Continue to Šibenik, the oldest native Croatian town on the eastern shores of the Adriatic. The town is famed for its UNESCO World Heritage Listed Cathedral of St. James, built between 1431 and 1536, both in Gothic and in Renaissance style. Afterward, continue to the town of Zadar.

The sixteen crystal blue-green colour lakes are stunning, particularly the upper lakes that lie in the dolomite valley which are interlinked by waterfalls and are surrounded by thick forests.
