Ormina Tours 2016 Program

Sydney, Australia – 7 August 2015 – Ormina Tours continues to redefine luxury travel to Europe for small groups with the release of its 2016 program.  Ormina Tours 2016 program builds on the brand’s vision to deliver a range of intimate unique experiences for the discerning traveller.

In 2015, the brand expanded its product offering introducing: new destinations for its small group escorted tours, a range of European city breaks, and tailored versions of its itineraries as private journeys.

“The release of the 2016 program builds on these initiatives and is designed to offer our guests more choice and flexibility” explains Ross Ioppolo, Ormina Tours Managing Director. “The 2016 program offers more departure dates and importantly, improved timing of departures to allow guests to combine our itineraries back to back to form new experiences. We have also aligned our dates to the offerings of key strategic partners that perfectly complement our product which will be announced this year.”

When asked what clients expect for 2016, Ioppolo explains “We pride ourselves in being experts in Europe with first hand knowledge, so every trip is handpicked, personally vetted and clients can trust the level of service will be in line with our promise. We can’t just look at photos and read reviews of hotels, I want to stay there myself, I want to personally see how far it is from the center of the city and eat in the restaurant.  I have personally been on 4 guided tours of Siena just to find the very best guide and it’s these little things that actually make a huge difference in your enjoyment of a tour.”

The investment is paying off, since moving from a direct only model to now being represented in over 150 travel agents, the brand name is growing.  “We have a wonderful network of agents who have supported the brand for years and we have even started getting interest from the US agents who have been searching for this type of product.”

What hasn’t changed is the core brand touch points. Europe only, unique itineraries, smaller groups with a maximum 18 people, only 4 and 5 star centrally located hotels, 2 and 3 nights stays and the right balance of sightseeing and leisure time. “We believe that a truly magical hotel is an experience in itself and one night is never enough. It’s just simply not enough time to experience a city,” says Ioppolo.
